Glass grade silica sand is a high-purity quartz sand (≥99.5% SiO₂ with Fe₂O₃ below 0.02%) used to manufacture clear container, flat and specialty glass. Shiv Mines and Minerals produces it at its Karauli, Rajasthan mines.
Shiv Mines and Minerals produces ultra-pure glass silica sand meeting the specifications required by glass manufacturers. It has an exceptionally low iron content (below 0.02% Fe₂O₃) for crystal-clear glass and is processed through washing, magnetic separation and precise sizing.
